LOCATION: DRIVERS SIDE FIREWALL UNDER HOOD
REMOVAL:
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Loosen engine control sensor wiring (12A581) to the Power train Control Module (PCM) connector retainer bolt.
3. Remove engine control sensor wiring connector from PCM.
4. Loosen PCM bracket support screw.
5. Remove PCM bracket support and PCM.


INSTALLATION:
1. Reverse removal procedure.
2. Tighten PCM retainer screw to 3-4 Nm (24-32 in-lb) .
3. Tighten electrical connector retainer bolt to 4 Nm (32 in-lb) .
4. NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the power train control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the adaptive strategy
